Paragliding

This area is recognised as one of the best locations in the world to paraglide. The world championships are held here and numerous displays and events are held throughout the year. You can have a go, just pop down to the local town, and book it.

The company pick you up from your apartment drive you up 6000 feet to the top of mount babadag. You are given a briefing and an experienced instructor will strap you into your harness, recap over the safety procedures, climb in behind you, and when the wind is in the right direction, and you give the 'good to go' sign you take to the skies. It takes about 45 minutes to fly down to the beach, where you land very gently on a grass area behind the beach. The pilot videos the flight, taking in the scenery and with the aid of a large pole attached to the video, videos back towards you, so you can prove to everybody back home that you did it.

The flight cost around £60 and the DVD around £12-15. A once in a lifetime experience you cant miss.
